Mas Certified Green ® Program Now a Part of U.S. EPA’s Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program

The MAS Certified Green ® Program is proud to announce its inclusion in the U.S. EPA’s
Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels for Federal Purchasing (the
Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program as a recognized and preferred certification program for construction materials and office furniture. This marks another advancement in the growth of the MAS Certified Green ® Program as it expands its profile within various sectors of the green certification field. This accomplishment, in addition to our involvement in the Wayfair ® Shop Sustainably Program, provides our clients with greater visibility to potential customers. 

The EPA’s Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program is an on-line search resource for federal purchasers required to or seeking to purchase sustainable green products for facilities around the country. The federal government is the largest purchaser of products and services, spending over $550 billion per year. Many of the MAS Certified Green ® clients are in the government contract program, and our inclusion increases the potential for additional exposure to purchasing agents.
